Service Description
The 90-minute session is for anyone who's ever gotten off the table thinking "I needed more time." The extended session lets your therapist work the full body without rushing — with time left to focus deeply on the areas that need it most, whether that's a stubborn shoulder, a tight lower back, or legs that have been carrying you all week. It's also where relaxation really takes hold. The first hour releases the tension; the last thirty minutes are where your body truly lets go. Available in Swedish or deep tissue styles, tailored to your pressure preference. Ideal for chronic tension, active retirees, golfers and pickleball players, or anyone whose body deserves the unhurried version.
Cancellation Policy
At Healthy Body Acupuncture, your time is valuable — and so is ours. When an appointment is missed or cancelled at the last minute, that time cannot be offered to another patient who may be waiting for care. To keep our schedule running smoothly and to serve all of our patients well, we ask that you review and honor the following policy. 24-Hour Notice We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This gives us the opportunity to offer your reserved time to another patient. Notice given 24 hours or more before your scheduled appointment allows you to cancel or reschedule at no charge. Late Cancellations A cancellation is considered "late" when it is made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Because this leaves us little or no opportunity to fill the reserved time, late cancellations are subject to a charge equal to 60% of the scheduled service fee. No-Shows A "no-show" occurs when a patient misses a scheduled appointment without notifying us in advance. No-show appointments are also subject to a charge equal to 60% of the scheduled service fee. How to Cancel or Reschedule To cancel or reschedule, please call or text our office at 941-228-4688 as soon as you know you will be unable to keep your appointment. If you reach us outside of business hours, please leave a voicemail or send a text — the time of your message will be used to determine whether the 24-hour notice requirement has been met. We are always happy to help you find a new time that works for your schedule. Late Arrivals We understand that life happens and delays occur. If you arrive late for your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you; however, your treatment may need to be shortened so that we can stay on schedule for the patients who follow. The full service fee will apply. If you anticipate being late, please call ahead so we can advise you. Exceptional Circumstances We understand that genuine emergencies and sudden illness sometimes make advance notice impossible. Cancellation fees may be waived at our discretion in the case of a true emergency. If you find yourself in such a situation, please contact us as soon as you are able so we can discuss your circumstances.
